He made his major solo debut in 2004 with "Neiro." His second album, "Ai Jibun Haku," became the first hip-hop solo artist to debut at number one on the Oricon weekly album charts. He continues to lead the Japanese hip-hop scene, including being the first Asian to appear on "MTV Unplugged." He has a wide range of activities, including writing songs and producing for various artists and composing Japanese lyrics for Broadway musicals such as "In the Heights" and "Moulin Rouge." In June 2013, September 8th was officially recognized as "Kureba Day" by the Japan Anniversary Association. His digital album, "LOOP END / LOOP START," released in 2021, reached number one on both the Oricon and Billboard JAPAN weekly charts. In 2024-2025, his 20th solo anniversary year, he will hold the "classroom entertainment" "KREVA CLASS," his first original book exhibition and sale event "Rapper, Paper and Pen" (GALLERY X by PARCO), release the album "Project K," and hold the nationwide tour KREVA LIVE 2025 "Project K Tour" with 21 performances in 19 cities. On KREVA Day, he will hold "908 ON THE DAY" at Tokyo Garden Theater. In December, he will hold a full orchestra concert, billboard classics "KREVA Premium Orchestra Concert" produced by Takebe Satoshi, at the East-West Classical Music Hall of Fame.
