The concept and thought behind the GREENROOM FESTIVAL is to save the rapidly depleting beaches across the country
and protect the ocean’s environment by awareness through music, art and film
while also sharing the culture of ocean and beach lifestyle.
It all started in 2005 with the thought of protecting the beautiful beaches and to bring more awareness to the ocean and the culture of surfing.
With this concept, the festival grew in size and moved from Osanbashi to the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse.
We aim to show a culmination of gratitude to all of the people who have attended and been part of this festival over the years.
