Formed in 1994, RIP SLYME made their major debut in 2001.
With catchy beats, smooth rap, and an endless stream of creative ideas and style, they have continued to shape their own unique brand of hip-hop, producing numerous hit songs.
Their album TOKYO CLASSIC achieved million-seller status, and their outdoor concert SUMMER MADNESS ’03, which drew 50,000 fans, left a lasting impact on the Japanese hip-hop scene.
After going on hiatus in 2018 and experiencing member departures, RIP SLYME resumed activities in April 2022 as a three-member group.
