A hybrid rock band based in Miyagi Prefecture, consisting of Canadian brothers Maynard (Vocals & Guitar) and Blaise (Vocals & Guitar), and the Japanese rhythm section of TAX (Drums) and DICK (Bass).
They released their first single “fly” in January 2006.
Their second single, “Around The World,” became a massive hit as the theme song for the Fuji TV drama “Saiyuki,” and their song “Sora wa Marude” was later used in a commercial, further establishing their identity as artists.
They have contributed to numerous commercial songs, as well as drama and movie theme songs. In addition, they have collaborated with various artists and provided songs for other musicians.
In 2011, they were appointed as “Tohoku Tourism Goodwill Ambassadors” and, in the same year, launched the “SEND Ai” project to support the reconstruction of the Tohoku region following the Great East Japan Earthquake. They held charity live performances and auctions, continuing their support for the recovery efforts. They have also toured internationally, performing in Asia and North America.
This year, 2025, marks their 25th anniversary since their formation, and they will hold a special 25th anniversary performance at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL on April 5th.
