Beatmaker, DJ, producer, and remixer. In 2003, he released his solo album New Awakening. He actively collaborates with international artists. In 2004, he was the only Japanese artist selected as one of the “100 Artists to Watch” by URB magazine in Los Angeles. His popularity and recognition skyrocketed not only in the U.S. and Europe but also in Asia, where he found success through tours. In 2014, the world club music streaming media Boiler Room held its first Tokyo live broadcast featuring DJ MITSU THE BEATS’ DJ performance. The archived video, despite its long runtime, achieved an exceptional 710,000 views. In October 2024, he released the 7th album Plan G by his group GAGLE.
