He is a legendary Japanese hip-hop artist who made his major solo debut in 2004 with “Neiro” and continues to lead the Japanese hip-hop scene.
Since then, he has provided songs and produced numerous artists, appeared in films, and written Japanese lyrics for the Broadway musicals “IN THE HEIGHTS” and “Moulin Rouge! The Musical”. In 2021, he reached No. 1 on the Oricon and Billboard Japan weekly rankings, and September 8th is officially recognized by the Japan Anniversary Association as KREVA Day.
In June 2023, “Rassera,” created based on the Aomori Nebuta Festival, was recognized as the official song of the Aomori City Dance Project; on September 08, a new song “Expert” was released for distribution; on September 14, “908 ESTIVAL 2023” and on September 15, “NO REASON” 2DAYS at Nippon Budokan. On December 27, KREVA CONCERT TOUR 2023 “NO REASON” at NIPPON BUDOUKAN, his latest best live performance, is now on sale as a video work. 2024 June marks the 20th anniversary of his solo debut.
