Originally from Portland, Oregon, Aaron moved to Orange County after earning a graphic design degree from the University of Oregon. He began his career as a graphic designer but soon transitioned to an apparel designer, working for brands like Arbor Skateboards, HippyTree, O’neill and Billabong, where he currently sits as the Senior Knits & Fleece designer. Aarons’ works are bombastic melanges inspired by the irreverent spirit of southern california surf culture. Anchored heavily with a comic book illustration style, his paintings weave a tapestry of mixed media scribbles, illustrations and painted elements all pointing to a playfulness that reminds you life is too short to take it all so seriously.
