RIP SLYME continues to deliver their unique brand of hip-hop, featuring innovative beats and a dynamic mic relay by a group of distinct MCs, producing numerous hit tracks over the years.After a hiatus and member departures, PES and SU will officially rejoin the group in April 2025, bringing back the original 4 MCs + 1 DJ lineup.
Formed in 1994, they made their major debut in 2001 with “STEPPER’S DELIGHT.” With innovative beats and a unique mic relay by distinctive MCs, they have continued to shape their own style of HIP HOP, producing numerous hit songs. Their achievements include the million-selling 2nd album “TOKYO CLASSIC,” becoming the first Japanese HIP HOP artist to hold a solo concert at Nippon Budokan, and performing at an outdoor live event with 50,000 attendees. After a hiatus and member departures, RYO-Z, ILMARI, and FUMIYA continued as a three-member group from 2022. Then, on April, 2025, PES and SU rejoined, returning to the original 4 MCs + 1 DJ lineup. They actively release new music, perform at major festivals across Japan, collaborate with other artists, and pursue solo projects.
